Political economy analysis (PEA) on child marriage are the studies commissioned by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and conducted by the Population Council to help situate the child marriage debate in Pakistan in the context of provinces. In Pakistan, discourse and practices around child marriage are embedded in and informed by, broad sociocultural narratives about marriage and sexuality. The PEA reports providing compelling evidence on discourse and practices around child marriage, particularly the health discourse.
