The Federal Sexual Violence Response Framework (FSVRF) is a one-of-a-kind compendium of actions for primary, secondary and tertiary responses to incidents of sexual violence. The Framework is holistic in nature and provides concrete actions to relevant government functionaries and civil society organisations for the prevention of sexual violence, protection of victims, prosecution of sexual offences and rehabilitation of victims of sexual offences. Against the backdrop of various legislative interventions, including but not limited to, the Anti-Rape (Investigation and Trial) Act 2021, the Framework collates relevant legislation, judicial guidelines, and good practices to comprehensively respond to the issue of sexual violence in Pakistan.
