Lives are changing in Pakistan when the country is now better prepared to save women and girls in time of disasters and crises. Safe delivery kits are pre-positioned, trained staff are in place to provide obstetric care for pregnant mothers. Condoms and contraceptive pills are stocked to help prevent unwanted pregnancy and STIs. Sanitary supplies and dignity kits allow women and girls to survive in crises without stigma. Multipurpose shelter improves living conditions of the affected people. UNFPA Pakistan prepares and pre-positions the Minimum Initial Service Package for Reproductive Health in Crisis to give back decent lives and dignity when they are needed the most.
